Ernesto Lujan is the Founder and CEO of dNovo. His discovery of directly reprogramming skin into neural stem cells that successfully integrated in a live mouse brain was featured in the BBC. He has received awards from the National Science Foundation, Ford Foundation, and California Institute for Regenerative Medicine.

Lujan completed bachelor's in Developmental and Cell Biology at University of California Irvine. He received Ph.D. in Genetics from Stanford, and has published cutting edge research on regenerative medicine in Nature, Cell Stem Cell, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
