Dr Dalius Ratautas, has a PhD in biochemistry and is a senior scientist at the Life Science Center, Vilnius University, as well as an Associate Professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania. Apart from other topics, his scientific and technological interests include the development of biosensing devices and technologies applicable for clinical diagnostics for hospital patients as well as in-home testing.

Recently Dalius has been focusing his research into the area of longevity partnering with UAB RDA Spot – a leading company in providing solutions for dried blood spot analysis. One of the recent ventures towards the topic of longevity was the research and development work led by Dalius in cooperation with UAB RDA Spot and also a prominent German longevity company MoleQlar GmbH to create the first European test suitable for NAD analysis from dried blood samples for people oriented in keeping their NAD levels at optimum. Due to high demand it was one of the fastest R&D projects conducted – from the initial idea to the presentation to the market the project was completed in less than 10 months.
