Cynthia Chestek is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Associate Professor (courtesy) of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of Michigan. Dr. Chestek’s research focuses on brain machine interface (BMI) systems using 100 channel arrays implanted in motor and pre-motor cortex.
Research areas include Bio-MEMS and Microfluidics, Bio-Micro Nanotechnology and Molecular Engineering, Neural Engineering
Chestek holds PhD from Stanford University and completed BS/MS at Case Western Reserve University.
