Caroline Abrahams
Charity Director at Age UK
Caroline Abrahams is Charity Director at Age UK. She is a social scientist and barrister. Caroline earlier worked in a senior capacity at the children’s charity, Action For Children and at the Local Government Association. Caroline has also been a policy adviser to Ministers and Shadow Ministers, and a senior civil servant.
At Age UK, she is a lead media spokesperson and oversees the charity's Influencing and Charity Brand (Marketing) activities. She is co-chair of the Care and Support Alliance, an adviser to the Government's Social Care Green Paper, and a Senior Responsible Officer for one of the workstreams for the NHS Long Term Plan. She was also formerly Chair of the End Child Poverty campaign.
