Dr. Carl H. June, MD, is the Richard W. Vague Professor in Immunotherapy and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He serves as the Director of both the Center for Cellular Immunotherapies and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. Dr. June’s research specializes in lymphocyte biology, with a focus on engineering T cells for cancer and HIV therapies. His lab is renowned for developing innovative CAR T-cell therapies and advancing gene therapy research, contributing significantly to the field of immunobiology and cancer treatment.
