He serves as the Director of both the Center for Cellular Immunotherapies and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. Dr. June’s research specializes in lymphocyte biology, with a focus on engineering T cells for cancer and HIV therapies. His lab is renowned for developing innovative CAR T-cell therapies and advancing gene therapy research, contributing significantly to the field of immunobiology and cancer treatment.
