The Institute of Biomedical Research of Bellvitge (IDIBELL) is a research center created in 2004. It is participated by the University Hospital of Bellvitge and Viladecans Hospital of the Catalan Institute of Health (ICS), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), the University of Barcelona and the city council of l'Hospitalet de Llobregat.

IDIBELL is located in Hospitalet de Llobregat, is a member of the Campus of International Excellence of the University of Barcelona (HUBc) and the institution CERCA of the Catalan Government.
