Even those in their 70s maintain heart, lung and muscle fitness of healthy people in 40s.
70 healthy people participated in this small study.
Swimming, yoga, cycling, or walking are beneficial, inexpensive and accessible lifelong exercises.
Study by Ball State University in Muncie, USA published in the Journal of Applied Physiology.
