Peptidomimetics could kill even the most resilient microbes

Scientists have discovered a potential new drug for the fight against the antibiotic resistance.
From 20 new synthetic peptides groups, called “peptidomimetics”, they have identified 2.
2 peptidomimetics group are safe for human health and can kill almost every bacteria.
Peptidomimetics have been tested at doses 10 to 50 times higher than the effective dose, haven't shown toxicity.
The study was published in PLOS ONE journal.
