AI diagnosing several diseases from a single blood test


Adaptive’s Immunoseq platform is able to read patients’ immune systems.
AI system will start from diagnosing diabetes, celiac disease, ovarian and pancreatic cancer, Lyme disease.
Partnership between Microsoft and Adaptive was first unveiled more than a year ago.
Microsoft invested $45 million in Adaptive, and Adaptive will spend $12 million on Azure cloud services.
Goal is to create a simple, not expensive blood test that you could take once or twice a year.
Future blood test would give you an early diagnosis of infectious disease, cancer and autoimmune disorders.

In a few years, we might have enough training data to actually achieve some diagnostic results
